JUMPING SEASON HEATS UP IN THE MIDDLE EAST - FEI JUMPING WORLD CUP ARAB LEAGUE

The regional showjumping calendar for the FEI Jumping World Cup qualifiers is underway, split across two dynamic Sub-Leagues: the North African Sub-League and the Middle East Sub-League.

North African Sub-League:

The North African Sub-League kicked off its season in Morocco with the Morocco Royal Tour in October, featuring stops in Tetouan, Rabat, and El Jadida. The action was due to move to Cairo, Egypt but that leg of the calendar faced a setback with the cancellation of two scheduled shows from its 2025 roster.

Middle East Sub-League:

The nine-leg Middle East Sub-League promises intense competition across the Gulf region, running until February 2026.

The league began with two shows in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. It then navigates a busy schedule across multiple key equestrian hubs, including:

Al Ain, UAE

Abu Dhabi, UAE (two separate legs)

Kuwait (two separate legs)

Doha, Qatar

The season will culminate in Sharjah, UAE, in February 2026.

CSI4*-W in Riyadh starts on the 10th of December and runs until the 13th, and CSI5*-W from the 17th until the 20th. Prize money for the FEI World Cup class is set at 164,700 euros, while the Grand Prix offers 105,500.
