QATAR & JORDAN REPRESENTED IN ASIAN GAMES EVENTING

At the 20th Asian Games, both Qatar and Jordan are breaking new ground in eventing at the Tokyo Equestrian Park.

While both nations have traditionally focused on showjumping - where Qatar has previously won Gold medals and Jordan has consistently delivered good individual performances - this cycle marks a clear effort to expand their reach into a new discipline.

Qatar has fielded a complete four-rider team featuring Mohammed Al Nuaimi, Abdulaziz Al Muhannadi, Mohammed Marri, and Mohammed Al Qadi to challenge for Team and Individual honours. Meanwhile, Jordan is represented by a single rider, Faris Shalan, marking an unprecedented milestone for the country’s eventing footprint at the continental level.

The equestrian events start on 21 September and end in 4 October.
