NAYEL NASSAR & IVORY TCS WIN THE CSI2* 1.45 FRIENDS OF THE GRAND PRIX AT THE SPRUCE MEADOWS ‘MASTERS’

Egypt’s Nayel Nassar continues his string of successes at the 2026 Spruce Meadows ‘Masters’.

On Saturday 12 September, he won the CSI2* 1.45m Friends Of The Meadows Grand Prix with Ivory TCS.

On Thursday 10 September, he won the 1.45m Paramount Resources Cup, also with Ivory. Nassar, along with the USA’s Laura Hazlett and Aaron Vale - were the only three combinations to jump clear out of 44 starters in the class.

On Wednesday 9 September, Nassar riding Orphea HQ, jumped double clear rounds in the 1.50m ATCO Cup and finished the jump-off in 41.71 seconds to get second place behind Ireland’s Conor Swail on Casturano who won the class in 41.30 seconds.



Nassar has previously won the ATCO Queen Elizabeth II Cup Grand Prix with Coronado in 2023, and won the ATCO Cup with ESI Ali in 2024.

Nassar and his fellow team mate, Sameh El Dahan, have both qualified for the CPKC ‘International’, presented by Rolex Grand Prix that will take place this evening at 22:00 Cairo time. The prize money for this Grand Prix is $ 3,623,188. Additionally, as a Major in the Rolex Grand Slam of Showjumping, competing riders are eligible for significant Grand Slam bonuses (up to $ 2,000,000) for consecutive victories across the series' four major events. In this case, world number one, Richard Vogel, is a live contender as he won the 2026 Rolex Grand Prix at the Dutch Masters and CHIO Aachen.

El Dahan riding Suma's Zorro, has won the Rolex Grand Prix in 2018.

On Thursday 10 September, El Dahan and WKD Aimez Moi started off their day at the Spruce Meadows ‘Masters’ with a great round in the Telus speed class - clearing in 64.79 seconds and getting third place behind Martin Fuchs and Falcon in second, and Richard Vogel and Chember in first.
