21-YEAR-OLD SIX BAR RECORD BROKEN BY VACLAV STANEK & JOSEPH STOCKDALE AT SPRUCE MEADOWS MASTERS

It was an evening to remember Friday of the 2025 Spruce Meadows ‘Masters’. Under the lights, 12 horse/rider combinations entered the fan favourite ATCO Electric Six Bar.

Six fences, progressing in height after each round - it’s a true testament of skill and bravery.

History was made tonight, the record height set in 2004 by Jessica Kurten (IRL) was broken by not one, but two stars. Vaclav Stanek (CZE) and Joseph Stockdale (GBR) both cleared the final fence set at 2.13m.

Joseph Stockdale’s father Tim Stockdale, won the same event in 2011.
