JORDAN COYLE CLINCHES THE ‘FRIENDS OF THE MEADOWS CUP 1.50M AT SPRUCE MEADOWS PAN AMERICAN

Day 3 – Spruce Meadows Pan American Presented by Rolex

Day 3 of Spruce Meadows Pan American kicked off a little before the afternoon with the ‘Friends of the Meadows Cup – 1.50’ class.

Initially 41 combinations were due to start however seven had withdrawn leaving 34 to clear those very big and wide fences designed by Mexico’s Anderson Lima. Seven carried no faults into the 53-second-allowed jump-off with three Irishmen topping the list to try to find a way to be placed.

Olympic athlete Jordan Coyle was the first to enter the jump-off with For Gold, setting an early pace of 38.64 seconds.

The 6 riders that followed couldn’t beat his time, with some taking fences,  and others making it in 40 to 45 seconds.
